Dark Gray Spots=Hives |
| Yes, we had to treat Luna for hives shortly after she got her first set of vaccinations. She required steroid injections and benedryl for about 3 days. Now, we just give her prednisone and benedryl right before her shots and she is fine. Rebecca Israel, Luna, Bailey and Bijou Costa Mesa, CA Rebecca@amlc.ipmail.att.net

| Hmm...I wonder if it may be related to her vaccinations?? She got a lump after her last set of vaccinations where they injected her...probably an injection reaction. She's finally done with them now. Although, I received an e-mail from Jackie backing up the adult hair coming in. And, Weims get dark gray spots as puppies, and later in life also! I don't feel any bumps in her skin, did you feel bumps?? Tara | |
| Tara, it definitely sounds like a reaction to the vaccines to me, as the lump you mention is just that. Dolores Sánchez-Peñalver | |
| Kaleigh's coat actually looks much better now! The dark spots are going away, and it has more sheen to it. I've stopped the Benadryl...I also stopped giving her the liquid Omega-3/Vitamin supplements...thinking this may have stirred something up. She gets Omega-3's in her Innova! I am glad her coat is looking better...although the spot where she scratched her hair off on the side of her face is still healing up. Thanks for your advice! Tara and Kaleigh...I'm a pretty girl!
