2002 Winner - Kat Berard, San Antonio, TX with Max and Barney
I am so BLESSED!!!! Carol Barsema called me tonight about 10:10 to let me know I won it. WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!! I feel guilty, go figure as I bought my tickets like everyone else but somehow feel I cheated by winning (is this weird? I am a GOOBER, I am I am). And I never win stuff, ever, so now I can stop saying that, in a BIG way. WOO-HOO!!!!!! SOMEBODY PINCH ME!!! I get teary eyed when I think about the time and energy and love that went into making this quilt. And the book that comes with it. I understand from Karen Sandvold who called me at midnight (she was bummed she didn't get to tell me first J ) that Anne Taguchi is the one who prepared the book? I will cherish this quilt and book FOREVER, and when I get that Weim stories book written (which will benefit Weim Rescue nationwide), the quilt will definitely be included somehow. THANK YOU to all of you who participated in making this very beautiful expression of your love and compassion for this breed. And what a FABULOUS 40th birthday present to me from my angels, yes? LOL. Ooooohhhhh, PINCH ME!! I'm not gonna get to sleep for a while tonight. WOW!!! Kat
