2003 Patriotic Quilt Location location location
This was a patriotic quilt, each quilter did a block representing their home country. As you can see, we had several countries represented. This quilt was comical, sentimental and is indeed a treasure. There is a block that pays tribute to Challenger, another that tributes NYC and the Twin Towers -9/11 and another reminding us all to "remember the alamo!" Please take a moment to "meet the artists" and read about the inspiration for each of their blocks. The 2003 Rescue Quilt raised $7358.00 for the Weimaraner Foundation Fund Rescue Fund. Again, everyone who supported this project made it a success!! |
